The game, or more specifically an infamous jeer that was issued in the game against Darryl Strawberry, was referenced in The Simpsons episode « Homer at the Bat » where Bart and Lisa jeer Strawberry the exact same way due to being sore over his forcing Homer to remain on the bench.< https://tacomarentallisting.com/exploring-sofi-stadium-home-of-the-los-angeles-rams-and-chargers/ /p>
The Dodgers-Yankees series was already a top-dollar matchup, but now heading back to Los Angeles on Nov. 1 for a title-clinching game, the stakes got higher and the tickers got pricier. The get-in cost for Game 6 at Dodger Stadium is currently $1,400 for seats in the Preferred Reserve sections. Those that was premium seats can get Baseline Club passes for no less than $5,200 or Dugout Club tickets for anywhere between $13,000 and $89,200.
• Only five Game 7s, and the 1912 Game 8, have gone into extra innings — five times in the World Series and once in the ALCS (the Aaron Boone game in 2003). The home team has won five out of six times when Game 7 goes beyond the requisite nine innings. The lone road victory came in the finale to the 2016 World Series, when the Cubs beat Cleveland, 8-7, to clinch the title. The home-team wins have provided some memorable Game 7 walk-offs.
• On Monday, the Rangers’ Adolis García became only the fourth player to hit multiple home runs in a winner-take-all Game 7. He joined Yogi Berra for the Yankees in the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers, Jason Giambi for the Yanks in the 2003 ALCS against the Red Sox and Johnny Damon for the Red Sox in the 2004 ALCS against the Yankees.

Occasionally, a witness will give a partial description of the criminal, allowing the user to eliminate one or more V.I.L.E. members as suspects. When only one viable suspect remains, Interpol issues an « arrest warrant » (the in-game equivalent of an Interpol « Red Notice ») against that individual. If the user enters a combination of attributes that eliminates all possible members of the database, the game will inform the user to that effect and refuse to issue any warrant. Once the user reaches the final destination (indicated by witnesses warning the user to be careful) and chooses the correct location, the police chase the criminal across the screen, leading to an off-screen fight. If the user has obtained a warrant for the correct suspect, the police place the criminal under arrest and the case is closed. Otherwise, the police are left empty-handed and the criminal escapes.
The intention of this game is to teach astronomy. The player flies in a rocket ship throughout the solar system, interrogating various alien lifeforms in order to solve the theft of an important part of the solar system (e.g. Saturn’s rings). There was only a limited amount of fuel available for travel. So if the player did not ask the right questions on the right planets, or followed the wrong clues, the criminal(s) would get away, leaving the player to start anew with another crime. This version is somewhat similar to Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?. Kneemoi was introduced in this installment.

World series game tonight
The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking for their first full-season championship in more than three decades Tuesday night as the New York Yankees look to avoid a World Series sweep and be the first team since 2004 to comeback from a 3-0 deficit in a championship round.
Meanwhile, it’s the first World Series win for Los Angeles superstar Shohei Ohtani, the presumptive NL MVP, who signed a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers before the season. Ohtani had not appeared in the playoffs before this year. He deferred $680 million of his salary in part to help the franchise spend more around him.
Jazz Chisholm grounded into a fielder’s choice with Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge on first and second, respectively. Stanton singled while Judge reached via fielder’s choice after a Juan Soto walk.

The adjustment did not pay off. All three of the home runs that Rodón allowed came on fastballs. Two of the three other hits that he allowed came on fastballs. The Dodgers ultimately had 22 swings on Rodón’s fastball and made contact on 21 of them. Some of these were not particularly bad pitches: The home run to Freeman, in particular, seemed to be located almost perfectly. But such is life against the Dodgers. These hitters are talented enough to make something from whatever you give them. (Keep in mind it’s not just the MVPs: Tommy Edman and Hernández have shown they can hit you just as hard this October.) It can feel all but impossible to game plan for their weaknesses. There are simply too many strengths here. And now Rodón can vouch for that.
Yankees: RHP Clarke Schmidt (5-5, 2.85 ERA in the regular season)Schmidt will make his third career postseason start and his first in the World Series. He tossed 4 2/3 innings of two-run ball in each of his first two outings this October, taking no-decisions against the Royals and Guardians. Schmidt pitched to a 4.50 ERA in eight home starts during the regular season, compared to a 1.39 ERA in eight road outings.
The Dodgers got on the board first in the second inning on Tommy Edman’s solo home run off Carlos Rodón. Soto evened the score in the top of the third but that’s where the offense stalled for New York. The Dodgers extended their lead later that inning on Teoscar Hernández’s two-run home run to the right field stands. Moments later Freddie Freeman — the hero of Game 1 — hit a solo shot to make it 4-1 Los Angeles.
There’s a better metaphor for the unrung bell that we have to talk about, though, because if this Series makes it back to Dodger Stadium from here, one big reason will be a play that didn’t involve Rodón or Yamamoto or Treinen.
After the dramatics of the first game of the World Series, Saturday’s contest was far more straightforward—that is, until the top of the ninth inning (more on that in a bit). Los Angeles Dodgers hitters jumped on New York Yankees starter Carlos Rodón. The lefty gave up three home runs—including back-to-back jacks to Teoscar Hernández and Freddie Freeman—and he was chased out of the game in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto had one of his best outings of the year, and the final score was Los Angeles 4, New York 2. The win puts the Dodgers up 2–0 in the series.
